I am relatively a new entrant in the field of Hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy happened to me out of pure curiosity and then learning the art became a passion.
Born in a family that is highly religious, I connect a lot with our Indian philosophy mentioned in the great Bhagwad Gita. It says “ Do your best, and leave the rest to the universe”. This philosophy is helping all those who I work with because they are able to get off the emotional burden from their shoulders.
Being a teacher teaching science from grades 5-8, I use a lot of affirmations in my classes and encourage students to visualize the chapters being taught. Student now have a change in mentality from “its difficult to learn” to “I will give my best shot”. This proves that the usage of positive words always have its effect.
I see a lot of discontent and jealousy even in young children. They are a lot into comparing their achievements with others which is making them learn a subject only to gain marks and not to gain knowledge or wisdom. I have made it a point to teach all my students the importance of thanking and showing gratitude.
I have successfully used spiritual hypnotherapy to help people with acute pain and joint problems. In fact, people who were advised knee surgery and could not walk without the aid a walking stick and knee caps on are now able to walk without any of those. We are all born with a master or a guiding spirit or a guiding force and they are waiting for us to call them and seek their help. I am a firm believer of asking help from the higher realms. They can never go wrong.
I am currently in the process of seeking certification for being a certified Trauma Tapper (www.peacefulheart.se). I have used Trauma Tapping Technique on a few needy people and some of my students and the results have been outstanding. The students who were scared of exams are now free of the feeling.
Having a background of working with some of the world’s top corporates (before being a teacher), I feel that as parents, we are expecting even children to grow up with a competitive mentality. While healthy competition is good, the parents must ensure that they teach their children to accept a no for an answer. This will make the coming generation more tolerant and understanding. I believe that we must spread happiness and love so that this world will be place where we all live in harmony. We all have our own resources, so go ahead, tap into it and use it to the fullest.
Our universe has abundance of all positive things, go get it!
